Youth Worker Position
The congregation at Wesley, Tauranga, has been committed to ministry with children and young people for many years. Since 1989, there has been a paid position focusing on the under 18's. The Wesley Kidz programme is co-ordinated by the Ministry Assistant. Now we are looking for someone to work with our growing number of young people, offering a scholarship to train for this type of ministry through the Praxis Youth Work Certificate or Diploma that starts in February 2010. This is a great opportunity to gain some experience alongside a theoretical understanding of working with young people in Aotearoa New Zealand today.
